The Anastasis in the centre is surrounded by 12 scenes with the most important feasts of the Orthodox Church: the Birth of the Virgin, the Entrance of the Virgin into the Temple, the Annunciation, the Nativity, the Presentation of Christ in the Temple, the Baptism, the Entry into Jerusalem, the Transfiguration, the Ascension of Christ, the Old Testament Trinity, the Dormition and the Raising of the True Cross. The style of the painting indicates that the icon derives from the Vyk region.
